Training programs please scroll down to the "Training Program Materials" in the Resources section below for information on how to use CNA365 to purchase vouchers, approve candidates for testing, add new training program users and reset your password.
Candidates are required to wear a face mask and bring the signed liability waiver to testing. Candidates under the age of 18 will not be allowed to test without a parent/guardian signature on the liability waiver.
See "COVID-19 Testing" in the Resources section of this page for detailed COVID-19 testing requirements.
Student must complete the state-approved nurse aide training program.
If you did not complete a state-approved training, you may still register under a different eligibility route as listed in the Candidate Handbook.
Your Candidate Handbook is your handy guide to answer all the questions you have about submitting an application, scheduling, taking an exam, getting score results, and much more.
Create an account with our online CNA365 system to register for testing by clicking the "Sign Up" link on the login page. You will need to submit an application for testing in order to register for exams.
We highly recommend that you read the Registration Quick Reference Guide with detailed instructions on how to register online for your exam BEFORE you begin the registration process.
If you previously had an online Pearson VUE account to register for examinations and/or manage your nurse aide registration, you'll need to create a new CNA365 online account with Credentia. Click here to login and then click the "Sign Up" link on the login page.
When you create a new CNA365 account, all of the data from your old Pearson VUE online account will carry over to your new Credentia CNA365 account.
Take your written or oral exam conveniently from home or work through Credentia online proctoring!
A live proctor will monitor you through the webcam on your workstation to provide a secure exam experience.
To conduct a search, you will need the name, city, and date of birth OR registration number of the nurse aide.
To be eligible for continued enrollment on the District of Columbia Nurse Aide Registry, you are required to work as a nurse aide at least one documented day (eight consecutive hours) for pay during the previous twenty-four (24) months, under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
Click here to create a CNA365 account to submit a renewal application. See our Renewal Quick Reference Guide on how to submit a renewal application.
If you are a nurse aide currently listed on another state’s nurse aide (or equivalent) registry as active and in good standing and wish to enroll on the District of Columbia Nurse Aide Registry, click here to create a CNA365 account to submit a reciprocity application.
See our Reciprocity Quick Reference Guide on how to submit a reciprocity application.
