Becoming a Regional Test Site

Hosting NNAAP® certification test events presents an excellent opportunity to expand your facility's mission of serving and supporting the local community and its residents. By becoming a Regional Test Site (RTS) that hosts public events, you can further enhance your commitment to community engagement and support.

Eligibility and Responsibilities

Regional Test Sites serve as designated locations for administering the NNAAP® written and skills exams, and they are accessible to the general public. It is imperative for prospective sites to have a clear understanding of the expectations associated with becoming a regional test site. To gain insight into these expectations, we encourage you to review the  Responsibilities document , which provides a comprehensive overview of the testing day requirements.

Additionally, we kindly request that you consult the Equipment List for Skills testing to familiarize yourself with the site configuration and equipment prerequisites. It is essential to note that the provision of required equipment by the site is a critical factor in our final decision-making process. If your facility can meet these requirements, please proceed to complete the request application, which includes inquiries regarding your site's configuration. It is vital to ensure that all requested information is provided in full to prevent delays in the application process.

You can expect to receive confirmation of the receipt of your application within 5 business days.

The evaluation of your application will be conducted within 30-45 days from the date of receipt. The decision will be influenced by various factors, including candidate demand and the presence of other testing locations in the vicinity, and it will be made at the discretion of Credentia.

We kindly request that you submit your application at least sixty (60) days prior to your preferred initial test date.

IMPORTANT: Test events must align with your state's mandated minimum number of registered skills candidates and adhere to the state-specific lead time for scheduling, which may vary by state. Failure to meet these requirements may result in the cancellation of your event, based on your state's regulations
